Although the title is typically registered with absolute leasehold title, the leaseholder could still risk receiving a challenge to their title, if it becomes apparent that the lease plan outlined a different area to that purchased and occupied. Our policy provides a fast solution, protecting the buyer against such an outcome, while allowing the transaction to proceed as an alternative to attempting to rectify the defect.
